Client profile: Clearly Creative, providing hands-on marketing services

Clearly Creative helps growing companies develop and implement their marketing strategy.  They specialize in strategy formulation, website design and optimization, social media, event management and email newsletters.  The company was recently granted dispensation by LinkedIn to use its brand name to run seminars on how to use LinkedIn for business, and we are pleased to say that they will provide their first public tutorial and workshop (for free) to CIC clients.

davidgowelWe have gotten to know Clearly Creative’s CEO Dave Gowel well through his pro-bono work with the Kendall Square Association where he is leading the charge to bring its online presence, marketing and branding to the next level.

Outside work, Dave is a recently honorably discharged Captain from the Active Duty U.S. Army, currently serving in the U.S. Army Reserve as an Assistant Professor of Military Science at MIT.  Dave is a West Point graduate and US Army Ranger.  He is actively involved in the Wounded Warrior Project.  In connection with that, this past February, in partnership with another client, Integrated Project Management (IPM), Clearly Creative enlisted the help of CIC clients to write letters to veterans at the VA hospital in Brockton. In about an hour, the CIC community had written 95 letters.
